Here is a short list of FAQs we think you will find useful.
How Secure is Weekwood copse?
The perimeter fence at Weekwood Copse is 158cm (5'2") high equifence stallion fencing, with plain wire above to deter high jumpers. Under the fence "fox wire" is buried to stop dogs digging under the fence. There is a fenced car park to safely load and unload your dog(s) and a small overflow car park/waiting area outside.
Weekwood Copse has been designed to be secure, not necessarily escape proof, so if you know you have an escape artist please ensure you keep them safe by using a longline/flexi lead when first visiting to assess the suitability for your dog(s).

WHAT IS SURROUNDING THE WOODLAND?
The woodland is surrounded by privately owned fields. Occasionally there are horses in the field next to us but these are not directly against the fence line so only visible to the dogs at a distance.
Sheep graze the field opposite the woods on the other side of the public byway leading to the woodland but are not visible to the dogs. On rare occasion there is activity in the neighboring fields such as working with tractors, chainsaws or shooting which can be heard from the woodland.
